       Sebuah pesawat Rusia telah terhempas di pusat bandar Sinai membabitkan lebih daripada 200 penumpang dan anak kapal dan insiden tersebut telah disahkan pejabat Perdana Menteri Mesir dalam satu kenyataan media.

Pejabat Perdana Menteri Sharif Ismail dalam kenyataan yang sama juga berkata bangkai pesawat tersebut telah ditemui di kawasan pergunungan di Sinai.

"45 ambulans telah dikerahkan ke tempat kejadian bagi mengeluarkan mangsa yang cedera dan maut.

"Perdana Menteri dijangkakan akan mengadakan pertemuan dengan kementerian-kementerian serta pihak berkuasa yang berkaitan bagi mendapatkan perkembangan terbaru insiden pesawat Rusia itu," tambah kenyataan itu,

Sementara itu, pihak berkuasa penerbangan Rusia Rosaviatsiya berkata dalam satu kenyataan bahawa penerbangan 9268 meninggalkan Sharm el-Sheikh pada 6:51 pagi waktu Moscow dan dijangka tiba di Lapangan Terbang St Petersburg Pulkovo jam 12.10 tengah hari.

Pihak berkuasa berkata, pesawat itu gagal membuat hubungan radio yang dijadualkan dengan pusat kawalan trafik udara Cyprus 23 minit selepas berlepas dan hilang daripada radar.

Pesawat model Airbus A-321 baru sahaja berlepas dari Sharm el-Sheikh di Laut Merah, dalam perjalanan ke bandar St Petersburg, Rusia.

Terdapat beberapa laporan yang bercanggah mengenai nasib pesawat itu, ada yang mendakwa ia telah hilang di Cyprus.

Kebanyakan penumpang pesawat yang dikendalikan syarikat penerbangan Russia, Kogalymavia, itu dikatakan pelancong Rusia.
Laporan terkini mengatakan pesawat tersebut membawa seramai 217 penumpang dan tujuh anak kapal.


     A Russian airliner has crashed in central Sinai, involving more than 200 passengers and crew and the incident has been confirmed Egypt's Prime Minister's office in a statement.

Office of the Prime Minister Sharif Ismail in the same statement also said the wreckage was found in the mountains of Sinai.


"45 ambulances were deployed to the scene to remove the injured and dead.

"The Prime Minister is expected to hold meetings with ministries and relevant authorities to obtain the latest incident with the Russian aircraft," the statement added,

Meanwhile, Russian aviation authorities Rosaviatsiya said in a statement that flight 9268 left the Sharm el-Sheikh at 6:51 am Moscow time and arrives in St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport at 12.10pm.

Authorities said the plane failed to make a scheduled radio contact with air traffic control 23 minutes after takeoff Cyprus and disappeared from radar.

Model aircraft Airbus A-321 had just departed from Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea, on the way to the city of St. Petersburg, Russia.

There are some conflicting reports about the fate of the aircraft, some claim it was lost in Cyprus.
Most of the passengers who controlled Russian airline, Kogalymavia, it is said Russian tourists.
Recent reports said the aircraft was carrying a total of 217 passengers and seven crew members.
