Mobile Legends is now one of the most popular mobile MOBA in the Asian. This can be proven by its esports competition which is so alive with the tournament of the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) and Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) .
Even so, there is still one big question that Moonton must answer as a developer. Will Mobile Legends go to a wider scope, the world tournament?
After waiting very long, we finally got the answer at the Moonton Epicon 2019 event. At the event, Moonton made a breakthrough by making first world tournament this year.
This was stated by Logan Shaw as Director of Moonton Esports. The Tournament named M1 2019, will compete for a prize of 250 thousand dollars.
Malaysia was chosen to host this tournament. Located at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia , this tournament will be filled by 16 best teams from 14 countries, such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, United States, Brazil, Russia and Turkey.
The group stage will take place from 11 to 14 November, followed by the Playoffs from 15 to 17 November. Russia is also said to be running its qualification round on July 22 to August 17.
Besides the world tournament, Moonton is also developing " Mobile Legends 2.0 ". This version will change the graphic appearance that will look better. Not only that, they also increase game loading speed by 60% . So, you only need 5 seconds to enter the game.
The look of Hero is also included in this version 2.0 update. Later Hero will appear more optimally in of visuals. In-game map will also show better lighting effects with frames per second that have been added. However, there is still no news about the date this update will be launched.
