First announced at the end of 2019, Riot revealed the titles of mobile games that will be released using the League of Legends franchise. Riot officially finally announced the release date of one of their games and will enter the open beta stage. The Mobile Game is Legends of Runeterra. Mobile games that have battle card gameplay will soon enter the open beta stage based on the announcements given by the developers.
Jeff Jew and Andrew Yip have announced the open beta release date on January 24th 2020. The players will be able to access this one mobile game for free. Legends of Runeterra is also certain to be played cross platform. So players can play Legends of Runeterra from a PC or from a cellphone.
In addition to the announcement of the open beta release date, Riot also announced that there will be several phases in the development of Legends of Runeterra. The first phase is to add a region or better known as a class, so that each hero has his own combo. Each region only has 6 heroes. However, the possibility can develop even more.
