On Friday (11/12/2021), Taylor Swift officially released her re-recorded album, Red (Taylor’s Version)The album is something Swifties have been waiting for, especially the 10-minute version of All Too Well.

Red (Taylor’s Version) itself is a re-recording of her acclaimed album, Red, which Swift previously released in 2012. The Grammy Awards-winning singer has a reason why she re-recorded some of her old albums.

It happened because Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager, acquired Taylor’s old record label, Big Machine Records. Braun also sold Swift’s first six albums—Taylor SwiftFearlessSpeak NowRed1989 , and Reputation—to a company called Shamrock Holdings.

Forever Winter is a song that talks about mental health and suicide. This is confirmed by Jessi Gold, assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis.

“I see it as about serious mental health struggles, particularly suicidal thoughts,” she said. “I interpret it as a song written by someone who is trying to love someone through their severe mental health struggles and the challenges of doing that.” (Huffpost)

In addition, Taylor Swift became the most streamed female in a day in the history of Spotify.

All 31 tracks from the album also are charting in the Top 100 on Apple Music Canada and Australia.
