Epic Games and Time Studios are now working together to create Fortnite March Through Time, a new gaming experience that pays homage to the achievement of Nobel Peace Prize laureate and civil rights activist, Martin Luther King Jr.
Developed by members of the Fortnite battle-royale Community and released today, this new gaming experience allows players to witness Dr. I Have a Dream’s full speech. Martin Luther King on in-game. Details of the game mode have been published on the PlayStation Blog, stating that players taking part in the Fortnite March Through Time experience will travel to the reimagined Washington DC at the Lincoln Memorial and the US National Mall, where Dr. King originally gave his speech in 1963.
This March Through Time Fortnite experience also includes museum-inspired attractions and mini-quests that players can take on with each other. Those who fully complete the March Through Time experience will gain access to an in-game reward in the form of a DC 63 spray for their locker.
Not only is it a new March Through Time experience, Fortnite is now releasing a new mode, Impostors. With a lobby of up to 10 players, this impostors mode uses similar mechanics and features to the Among Us games. Set in a new map known as The Bridge, players will be divided into 2 teams, 8 agents and 2 impostors, who are then pitted against each other in a battle of wits and tactics.
Many Fortnite players have tried this new game mode, and not all of them have responded positively. The Among Us developers also took to Twitter after the release of Fortnite’s impostors mode to share their feelings about the similarities between the two games.
