Many mobile games have become popular due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and one of them is the asymmetric game Among Us. This online multiplayer game has become popular because it can be played on various platforms ranging from PC, mobile, to Switch Consoles. In fact, in the next few months this game will be able to be played on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. And does Free Fire now have an ‘Among Us’ mode?
Currently, one of the popular Battle Royale games, Garena Free Fire, is rumored to have developed a new game mode. Free Fire will soon add the ‘Among Us’ mode to the game, where players are tasked with looking for an Imposter.
This new mode has been tried by many creators of Free Fire to be able to share their playing experience and feedback about the new game mode. Free Fire ‘Among Us’ mode can be played in a new map called Laboratory. Each match will have a total of up to 10 players. Each player will be represented as a Pet Free Fire, not a normal character.
The game rules in this mode will be similar to Among Us. There are 2 sides, Scientists and Pranksters (Imposter). There would be Pranksters among the Scients who were on their duty to find out who they were to win.
A crisis would occur around the map for the Scients players to resolve. Pranksters can’t do this and they can only pretend to do it. Pranskters can also kill other players and create a Crisis.
At the end of the round, players will gather and debate which player is the Pranksters and kill them. Scientists can choose to kill the people they think are Pranksters.
The dead Scientist will turn into a Ghost and can only go around and watch the matches, nothing else. The most different thing about this mode compared to Among Us is the point of view. Among Us is a 2D game with a top-down perspective, while this mode will use the third-person perspective of Free Fire.
