Now Knives Out is a Battle Royale game that often collaborates with various famous anime titles. Previously they had collaborated with the anime Attack on Titan and Gintama, and now the game developed by NetEase officially collaborated with the Tokyo Ghoul anime. It is planned that this collaboration event will last for 2 weeks, starting from June 30 until July 14 2020.
This collaboration will present various items with the theme Tokyo Ghoul, the special skins Kaneki Ken, Touka Kirishima, and Rize Kamishiro. The skin will show the character the player uses with the Kagune look that is the hallmark of the Ghouls.
Not only that, the Knives Out x Tokyo Ghoul collaboration will also present a new map, which allows players to play in a team, to eradicate the ghouls. This new map has gameplay like Endless Dungeon, where players have to survive the various waves. NetEase has also prepared various weapons and cars with the theme Tokyo Ghoul which will enliven the collaboration this time.
Previously, the game that was first released in 2017 Android and IOS by NetEase has the name Tokyo Royale. The naming of Tokyo Royale was taken, because this battle royale game is quite popular in Japan, so it is not surprising that the Knives Out game often collaborates with famous anime as one of its marketing strategies to attract new players.
