Not felt, it’s been one month since the action RPG game Genshin Impact was released and many players have finished playing the story. However, the story in Liyue does not seem to be the end of the city story of this game. miHoYo will soon provide answers to all of Zhongli and Childe’s stories in the near future in the patch update version 1.1 Genshin Impact update.
Through the press release sent, miHoYo informed that update patch version 1.1 Genshin Impact will be released on November 11, 2020. The update, entitled A New Star Approaches, will present four new characters along with new mechanics that players must wait for. This update patch 1.1 will also present the closing of the main story Liyue.
The four characters that will be presented in patch 1.1 are Childe, Zhongli, Xinyan, and Diona. Childe is a five star character who is armed with arrows with hydro or water elements. Childe can change the attack mode, range and melee, as shown in the scene when a traveler first meets Childe.
Meanwhile, Zhongli is a spear user like Xiangling. Zhongli has a geo or earth element that is able to launch area attacks with a high level of defense. Zhongli is also able to turn his enemies into stone with his skills.
While the elements that two four-star characters, Xinyan and Diona, will have are fire and ice.
Update patch 1.1 Genshin Impact will also present the first seasonal event. The event titled Unreconciled Stars will invite all players to fight the calamity that threatens Teyvat. The two week event will provide new quests, new co-op challenges, and get several attractive prizes, including the four-star character, Fischl.
In this update miHoYo also promises a Reputation mechanism. This system will allow players to build a reputation in each region and unlock new prizes. Includes exclusive customization items for each region.
In this update there will also be a variety of additional features, including portable waypoints (for teleportation), portable stoves (for cooking), treasure compasses (for looking for chests), and oculus resonance stones (for looking for anemoculus or geoculus) that will help travelers to explore Teyvat.
Interestingly, miHoYo also mentioned that Genshin Impact will have backward compatibility when PlayStation 5 is released later. Which means, the PlayStation 5 player will be able to play and continue the progress of the PlayStation 4 when the console is released.
Update version 1.1 Genshin Impact will be released on 11 November 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS.
